Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided commissioning services for the construction of the new 414,854-SF Waltham High School, designed to serve 1,830 students in grades 9–12. The facility balances academic rigor with hands-on learning through a full integration of Career and Technical Education (CTE) spaces, fostering diverse learning opportunities and preparing students for future career paths.
Our commissioning scope covered all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring they were installed, tested, and performing in alignment with the design intent. The building is pursuing LEED-S verification, reflecting the City of Waltham’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
