Q&A

Can you share a brief overview of what you do at the company?

The short version is that I am responsible for supporting the engineering and design staff once a project goes into construction. This means assisting in reviewing submittals and RFIs, attending construction meetings and relaying information back and forth, as well as onsite visits to assess the progress of construction and adherence to the contract documents. I work as the representative of F&T to our clients and help to find solutions to any problems that may come up through the course of the project.

What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your job?

I find the ability to use and share my knowledge with others to be one of my favorite parts of my role. I like that I can walk onto a jobsite and see the project coming together and know that my experience helps the entire process move forward efficiently.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, playing different games on my PC and PS5, and playing as much disc golf as I can. The winter season is a bit challenging to get outside for the fun and exercise but having a team of people to play with makes for an incredible experience.
