F&T Staff on the Move: Associate Program

Fitzemeyer & Tocci recently held our annual Associate Nomination meeting, where our current associates elected those individuals who drive the growth of F&T’s business and brand. We are incredibly fortunate to have such talented individuals at F&T.

New Associates:


Lauren Witt- Associate

Lauren Witt-Associate

We are proud to announce that Lauren, our Human Resources Manager, has been nominated for Associate recognition! With 11 years of experience and four dedicated years at F&T, Lauren consistently exemplifies leadership and innovation in advancing our HR functions. She plays a pivotal role in our learning and growth, significantly enhancing onboarding, and enabling team members with critical resources. She has led the implementation of new HR software, streamlining our recruitment, onboarding, and performance management to support productivity across departments. Additionally, Lauren revitalizes employee engagement, reflecting her commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful workplace culture.   Lauren continuously demonstrates her exceptional dedication to F&T’s mission. She is a recent graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and is a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time wrangling her children, yoga, and being outdoors with family.


Steve Crowley- Associate

Steve Crowley- Associate

Since joining us three years ago, Steve has gone above and beyond his core responsibilities to drive both team development and technical advancement throughout F&T. Steve has been instrumental in selecting, mentoring, and developing interns who have flourished under his guidance. Steve's leadership extends to his proactive implementation of cybersecurity tools, as well as orchestrating staff education on phishing awareness. These efforts have significantly bolstered our cybersecurity framework. Steve is also behind several process-enhancing tools and remains a reliable, respectful, and resourceful support to both our internal teams and clients. His dedication to continuous improvement in technology, client service, and operational excellence has made him a valued contributor, and we are honored to recognize his achievements! Steve enjoys playing guitar (he owns six of them!) as well as golfing on the weekends.

Matthew Fitzemeyer – Associate Principal

Matthew Fitzemeyer – Associate Principal

Matt has been with the firm for 14 years and has progressed through the company starting as a co-op, mechanical design engineer, project engineer, and now a project manager. He has a vast knowledge of many areas of operations and is known as very reliable, both internally and externally.  Matt is active in Thought Leadership, participates in industry organizations, engages in external and internal training, and enthusiastically supports others’ growth while also seeking feedback for ensuring his own. Matt is known within his family to be amazing at impressions and accent and is a huge fan of Frank Sinatra.


Tim Piehl – Senior Associate

Tim Piehl – Senior Associate

Tim serves as head of the electrical discipline within the engineering team. With a diverse project-based background, he serves as a team leader, mentoring and training junior level staff. Tim monitors all aspects of a project’s progress, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion while also developing the electrical engineering standards within the team. He ensures the team’s electrical designs are fully code compliant and up to date with industry standards. Tim has been with F&T for over 10 years and has worked on a multitude of projects for clients in the academic, healthcare, municipal, and science and technology sectors. Tim enjoys golfing with his friends. In the winter he participates in ice fishing tournaments.


Ariana Surabian – Senior Associate

Ariana Surabian – Senior Associate

Ariana has been with F&T for nine years. She started as office administrator and quickly moved up to a marketing support role after realizing her passion for marketing. After completing her degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, Ariana was promoted to Marketing & Business Development Manager. She has had many accomplishments in her time at F&T. Most notably, completely overhauling our company website and implementing the social media platform, Sociabble. As of 2024, Ariana also leads the Business Operations team, ensuring the administrative functions at F&T run smoothly.   In her free time, Ariana enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and has a personal goal to visit as many National Parks as possible!

 

Ted Hetzel– Senior Associate

Ted Hetzel– Senior Associate

Ted Hetzel, PE has been a driving force in F&T’s sustainability efforts and a model of leadership. Ted began his journey with us as an HVAC Group Leader in 2021 bringing a keen interest in sustainability that has since become integral to our operations. In recognition of his expertise, Ted was promoted to Group Leader and Sustainability Specialist. He plays an active role in the Sustainability Committee, spearheading initiatives designed to enhance our team’s skills and participation in sustainability-related events. His problem-solving ability and reliability parallel the qualities of an Owner’s Engineer, confidently navigating challenges with minimal guidance. His dedication not only advances our company’s sustainability goals but also sets a high standard for leadership and collaboration. Ted is the proud owner of a 6-year-old dog named Rosie and has recently taken up Hillclimb car racing in his spare time!


Tricia Soulard- Senior Associate

Tricia Soulard- Senior Associate

Since joining F&T as a Project Administrator in 2018, Tricia has consistently demonstrated exceptional qualities as an outstanding employee. Her ability to collaborate across all departments has proven vital in highlighting the significance of interdepartmental cooperation for our company’s success. Tricia's reliability and accountability, coupled with her proactive approach in managing projects and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, have been instrumental in keeping projects on track. In her free time, Tricia is a dedicated blood donor, having donated almost 100 pints over the years.


Congratulations to the recent Associate Program inductees. We look forward to the growth of the firm and the ability to continue welcoming such talented people to this program,  which is designed to recognize those who embody our core values of Reliable, Resourceful, and Respectful and are shining examples of the Way to be F&T!
