Building on 25 years of inspiring visitors, this modernization project now incorporates the Challenger Learning Center and the FSU Planetarium, creating an innovative and immersive educational environment that continues to honor Christa McAuliffe’s mission.

The renovation enhanced a wide range of spaces, including offices, a conference room, administrative areas, classrooms, a lunchroom, lobby, planetarium, mission briefing room, mission control, and a state-of-the-art spacecraft simulator. These upgrades ensure that the center remains a premier destination for experiential learning, space exploration, and STEM education.
