Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided MEP/FP engineering design and construction administration services for Grappone Hall, the new home of the Jean School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Saint Anselm College. Opened in 2025, the $40M, 45,000-SF facility is the largest project-based campaign in the college’s history and was built to address New Hampshire’s critical nursing shortage.
Grappone Hall houses undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing, community and public health, and health sciences. The facility features a 200-seat auditorium, specialized labs for anatomy and physiology, and a 7-lab simulation center replicating environments such as Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care, Home Health, and Mental Health. AI-powered mannequins and fully simulated nursing units provide immersive training that prepares graduates for high-demand clinical roles.
F&T designed high-performance, sustainable building systems to support advanced simulation technology, flexible academic spaces, and long-term operational efficiency - ensuring the facility can meet the complex needs of healthcare-focused education well into the future.
