Williams College selected Centerline Architects and Fitzemeyer & Tocci to provide design and construction services for its first new dormitory in over 40 years. The 25,000 square-foot residence hall features three two-story wings and was designed with a strong focus on sustainability, energy performance, and occupant well-being.
Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided comprehensive MEP/FP engineering services to support the college’s ambitious energy and environmental goals. The building achieved LEED Gold Certification and delivered an impressive Energy Use Intensity (EUI) of less than 25 kBtu/SF/year—reflecting a highly efficient building envelope and mechanical system performance.
This new residence hall serves as a model for sustainable campus development, combining modern comfort with long-term operational efficiency.
