Fitzemeyer & Tocci partnered with the design and construction team to deliver MEP/FP engineering design and construction administration for the new Center for Advanced Heart Failure & Cardiomyopathy Care at BIDMC.

This project transformed 11,000 SF of space on the West Campus into a modern, patient-centered outpatient clinic for individuals living with advanced heart failure. The facility features 10 exam rooms, rooms for echocardiograms, stress tests, and ultrasounds, two infusion treatment rooms, and carefully planned staff spaces to enhance workflow and patient care.

Our team designed systems to support specialized cardiovascular diagnostic and treatment equipment, with a focus on operational efficiency, patient comfort, and safety. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems were coordinated to meet BIDMC’s clinical requirements while integrating seamlessly into a warm, welcoming, and technologically advanced environment for more than 5,000 patients annually.
