Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided full HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the construction of a new central plant at Concord Hospital. The project was a critical infrastructure upgrade, designed to improve system reliability, energy efficiency, and long-term operational resilience.
The new central plant features three high-efficiency fire-tube boilers, complete with advanced controls and pumping systems. These systems were integrated to operate as a single, self-sufficient plant capable of supporting the entire hospital campus.
F&T’s design ensured seamless coordination between new and existing infrastructure, delivering a robust and scalable solution to meet Concord Hospital’s current and future energy demands. The result is a centralized, efficient utility plant that strengthens the hospital’s ability to provide continuous, high-quality care in a safe and reliable environment.
