The Mark Stebbins Community Center has officially opened its doors in Manchester, NH, bringing a long-held vision for Manchester’s West Side to life. Designed as a centralized hub for support and opportunity, the facility brings multiple nonprofit organizations together under one roof to provide essential services for children, families, and community members.
The center is now home to affordable before-and after-school programs through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester, an accessible health clinic operated by Amoskeag Health, a food bank, and community navigation services that connect residents with resources throughout the state.
Named in honor of the late Mark Stebbins, whose vision inspired the project, the center reflects years of collaboration among local leaders, nonprofit organizations, donors, and community advocates. Together, their efforts created a welcoming space where residents can access essential services, build connections, and find support close to home.
Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, engineering services for the design and construction administration of the facility. We’re proud to have contributed to a facility that brings these important services together in one place. The opening of the Mark Stebbins Community Center is a meaningful milestone for Manchester’s West Side and a lasting reflection of the vision and collaboration that made it possible.
