Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided MEP/FP engineering design and construction administration services for the renovation of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center’s new Adolescent Medical Psychiatry inpatient suite. Located in Building 1, Level 2 East, this project transformed an existing inpatient unit into a dedicated, specialized space that promotes safety, healing, and comfort for young patients and their families.
Working closely with Lavallee Brensinger Architects and HP Cummings, our team integrated robust safety measures, specialized healthcare design principles, and systems tailored to support behavioral health care. The design emphasized operational efficiency, patient comfort, and a therapeutic environment that fosters positive mental health outcomes.
F&T’s scope encompassed the full range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, addressing both new and renovated infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with healthcare standards.
