Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety engineering design services for the new construction of a 15,000 square-foot outpatient mental health facility at the Providence VA Medical Center.
This state-of-the-art facility was designed to meet the evolving behavioral health needs of veterans, offering dedicated resources and treatment spaces to support individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, grief, and other mental health challenges. The building was engineered to accommodate up to 300 patients, with an emphasis on creating a therapeutic, safe, and comfortable environment.
F&T’s design met all current VA standards while incorporating flexibility to support future care delivery models, ensuring long-term value and responsiveness to the needs of the veteran population.
