Q&A
Can you share a brief overview of what you do at the company?
As an Electrical Designer, I primarily use Revit to develop electrical designs for a variety of projects. My work includes power, lighting, and fire alarm design, while applying applicable electrical codes and standards to ensure designs are safe and compliant. I also coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines and continue to build my knowledge through experience across different projects.
What inspired you to join our team, and what has been your journey so far?
Upon completing my co-op, I knew I wanted to pursue a full-time role at F&T. I was drawn to F&T’s welcoming and supportive workplace culture, which made learning about the MEP industry both engaging and rewarding. As I finished my degree, I returned to F&T on a part-time basis, creating a seamless transition into my current full-time role. Throughout my time here, I’ve continued to grow my knowledge of the MEP field and look forward to learning more.

What do you enjoy to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time at the gym, as well as traveling and exploring new places. Last fall, I took a trip to Iceland with my mother, which was an incredible experience. Earlier this year, I also had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and experience several new places and cultures. When I’m not traveling, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
