F&T is excited to announce the initiation of a new project at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home (HCNH) located in Goffstown, New Hampshire. Working in collaboration with Turnstone Corporation, we are providing comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering services for the extensive overhaul of the nursing home's HVAC systems.
Spanning across 127,000 square feet, the nursing home facility is set to undergo significant improvements that will enhance the comfort, safety, and overall well-being of its residents and staff. Our primary objectives include upgrading the HVAC system, introducing state-of-the-art technology to significantly improve energy efficiency, ventilation, and infectious control measures, thereby promoting superior air quality. We recognize the critical importance of maintaining a healthy and comfortable environment, particularly in a care facility of this nature.
To complement these mechanical enhancements, we will also modernize the Building Management System (BMS) controls. This upgrade will empower the dedicated facilities team with tools and capabilities to manage the building’s operations more effectively. By implementing cutting-edge control systems, we aim to optimize energy consumption, streamline maintenance procedures, and ultimately ensure the well-being of the residents remains a top priority.
The Hillsborough County Nursing Home provides skilled and intermediate care to a total of 300 beds. Notably, it includes a 19-bed behavioral Unit and a 50-bed special needs Alzheimer's Unit. Our team is honored to contribute our expertise to a project that will positively impact the lives of the individuals residing in these specialized units, as well as the broader nursing home community.
