Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute - Sports Medicine

Location: Suwanee / Johns Creek, Georgia Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical engineering design and construction administration services for the new Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute – Sports Medicine location at Johns Creek. 

 The first-generation 5,400-SF buildout was designed to support advanced orthopedic and sports medicine care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. The clinic includes a reception and waiting area, 11 exam rooms, four physician offices, an X-ray suite with overhead rail support, two patient restrooms, a staff breakroom, and central nurse and staff workspaces.

Our scope included the reconfiguration and extension of existing MEP systems to serve the new clinic, performance-based design for fire protection and fire alarm systems, and new distribution for lighting and electrical infrastructure. F&T’s design emphasized energy efficiency and patient comfort, while meeting Northside’s operational goals on an accelerated schedule.
