F&T is excited to share that Ted Hetzel is the firm's new Sustainability Specialist.
Ted is a registered professional engineer, certified passive house consultant, and LEED Accredited Professional with nearly ten years of experience. He joined F&T in 2021 as HVAC Group Leader and, since then, has worked to improve our capabilities in energy efficiency and other sustainable engineering topics. This led him to his new role, where he will serve as the go-to technical expert for sustainability engineering efforts and projects.
Ted’s background includes Passive House and LEED design work, energy modeling, and applications of novel technologies. He has a passion for finding efficient yet practical solutions, a goal he shares with many of our clients. With his extensive experience in analyzing and designing sustainable energy systems, he will mentor other engineers to develop their design capabilities, perform QA/QC on projects, and assist clients with the development of sustainable-focused plans and projects.
