Welcome to our 2026 Fall Co-Ops

F&T is thrilled to welcome our 2026 Fall Co-Ops! Our program is designed to introduce students to the MEP/FP consulting industry, providing them with valuable insights and hands-on experience. Throughout their time with us, our co-ops are immersed in real-world projects, allowing them to gain practical knowledge and skills that will be invaluable in their post-graduate careers. 

Our co-ops tackle various challenges, working closely with our experienced team members. They have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of our industry, from project management to technical design, and everything in between.

Kinsey Lutz - Project Manager

Kinsey Lutz, an Electromechanical Engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is an emerging engineering professional with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and technology. Her experience with embedded systems, additive manufacturing, and programming has helped her develop a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles. 

Kinsey is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering with minors in Applied Mathematics and Business Management. Through her coursework and projects, she has gained hands-on experience with robotics, microcontrollers, circuit design, and additive manufacturing. She has worked with tools such as MATLAB, SolidWorks, and Arduino devices, and has applied her skills through projects involving CAD design, hardware-software integration, and C programming. 

She was drawn to engineering by her interest in understanding how systems work and finding creative solutions to complex challenges. Her experience as an Engineering Co-op at Methods Machine Tools and as a tutor at Wentworth has strengthened her technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to collaboration. We are excited to welcome Kinsey to F&T. 

In her free time, Kinsey enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. She loves exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and making spontaneous plans that often turn into great memories. 

Andy Tran - IT

Andy Tran, a Computer Information Systems student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is an emerging professional in the field of Information Technology, driven by a passion for helping others through technology. His hands-on experience in technical support, desktop services, computer repair, and technology sales has allowed him to develop a strong foundation in troubleshooting and customer-focused IT solutions.  

Andy is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and has gained practical experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. Through his roles in technical field support, desktop services, and technology sales, he has assisted with software installations, system updates, device deployments, computer repairs, new-hire system setups, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support. He has also built custom performance computers and recommended hardware solutions based on users’ needs and budgets. 

He was drawn to the field of Information Technology by his enthusiasm for helping people solve problems through technology. His experience working directly with customers, colleagues, and technology users has strengthened his commitment to providing thoughtful service, effective communication, and reliable technical solutions. We are excited to welcome Andy to F&T. 

In his free time, Andy enjoys performing computer maintenance for his family and playing video games. Currently, he especially enjoys playing Palworld with his sisters and girlfriend. 

Carla Garcia - Electrical Engineer

Carla Garcia, an Electrical Engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is an emerging engineering professional with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and collaboration. Through her academic studies, technical projects, and internship experiences, she has built a strong foundation in electrical engineering while developing valuable communication and teamwork skills. 

Carla is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has gained hands-on experience in circuit design, microcontrollers, digital logic, and electrical systems. Through her coursework and projects, she has worked with PLCs, industrial controls, FPGA programming, and electrical design tools. Her previous internships at Vanderweil Engineers provided opportunities to support electrical engineering teams on a variety of projects, contributing to design updates, project documentation, and field coordination. 

She was drawn to engineering by her interest in understanding how systems work and applying technology to solve real-world challenges. Her experiences as an engineering intern, Orientation Leader, and Admissions Ambassador have strengthened her technical knowledge, adaptability, and commitment to helping others. We are excited to welcome Carla to F&T. 

In her free time, Carla enjoys spending time with friends, growing her collection of plants, and hanging out with her dog, Athena. She also enjoys exploring new places and trying new restaurants whenever she has the chance.

Mark Norris - Mechanical Engineer 

Mark Norris, a Mechanical Engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is an aspiring engineering professional with a passion for design, innovation, and problem-solving. Through his academic studies, engineering projects, and industry experience, he has built a strong foundation in mechanical engineering while developing valuable technical and collaborative skills. 

Mark is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. As a member of the Honors College and Dean’s List student, he has gained hands-on experience in CAD design, finite element analysis, thermal systems, and machine design. Through his work on the Wentworth PICO Satellite project and previous engineering roles, he has contributed to product design, technical analysis, and engineering solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary teams. 

He was drawn to engineering by his interest in understanding how things work and finding practical solutions to complex challenges. His experiences in both engineering and public service roles have strengthened his problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork. We are excited to welcome Mark to F&T. 

In his free time, Mark enjoys backpacking, fishing, golfing, and anything that gets him outdoors. He especially enjoys exploring new trails and spending time in nature whenever he can. 

Ethan Maloney - Commissioning

Ethan Maloney, an Electrical Engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is an aspiring engineering professional with a passion for problem-solving, technology, and innovation. Through his academic studies, technical projects, and hands-on experience, he has developed a strong foundation in electrical engineering while building valuable analytical and technical skills. 

Ethan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has gained experience in circuit analysis, digital logic, embedded systems, and programming. Through coursework and engineering projects, he has worked with FPGA design, signal processing concepts, and software tools including C, C++, MATLAB, Python, and Multisim. His projects have involved circuit simulation, hardware testing, statistical modeling, and the development of custom logic systems. 

He was drawn to engineering by his interest in understanding how technology works and applying technical solutions to real-world challenges. His academic projects, volunteer experience, and customer service background have strengthened his problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and teamwork skills. We are excited to welcome Ethan to F&T. 

In his free time, Ethan enjoys camping, watching movies, learning about cars and technology, and following baseball. He appreciates opportunities to explore new interests and enjoys staying up to date with the latest developments in technology and innovation.
