Samuel Howard is a Business Development Representative at Fitzemeyer & Tocci, where he has been making an impact since joining the team five months ago. With a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire, he brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to his work.  In his role, Samuel focuses on building relationships with prospective clients and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives through strategic outreach and engagement. His background in sociology offers a unique perspective for understanding client needs and fostering meaningful connections that align with the firm’s long-term business objectives.

Q&A

What inspired you to join our team, and how has your journey been so far?

What inspired me to join the F&T team was my dad. My dad has done business development for over 30 years, and I’ve had the privilege of watching him work for my whole life. He always went to work with a smile. His passion for the job and the industry was instrumental in me pursuing this job. My journey so far has been great! I’ve gotten to know so many amazing people and really appreciate the work that goes into the buildings we all use every day.  

What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your job?

It always makes me happy when I see someone out at an event, and they have heard of us but haven't worked with us or don't know too much about us. When I hear that, I know it's go time, and I get to talk about the amazing work we’ve done and the things we are capable of doing at F&T. A big part of my job is making sure that people know who we are and what we can do, so anytime I am able to do that I leave the event or meeting feeling rewarded. 

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work I love to spend time with my wife. She is my best friend and greatest companion. We enjoy walking our dog, Winston, camping, finding good spots to eat, traveling (especially to Disney World) and spending time with family. On top of that I love to golf, run, watch football, grill, and do yardwork when I find the time.
