Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided full MEP/FP/FA engineering services for a fast-track project to support Metamagnetics’ new office and laboratory facility in Marlborough, MA. The project included the design and construction of a new research and development laboratory space, along with renovations to adjacent office areas.

Working under an aggressive schedule, the project required close coordination between Fitzemeyer & Tocci, Timberline Construction, and the Owner to develop an early procurement package that supported timely equipment and material acquisition. A new electrical service was designed and implemented for the building, necessitating detailed coordination with the local utility provider.

The design also included Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) construction, requiring specialized engineering to meet stringent security, environmental, and operational requirements.
