Working with Fallon Company, Shawmut Corporation shifted gears early in the pandemic to turn their West Bridgewater Headquarters into an N95 mask production plant. Fitzemeyer & Tocci quickly joined the team to provide facility design and construction administration services, which went from concept to production in six months. Production lines are now operating, with a goal of creating up to 10 million masks per month by year-end to meet continued demand for domestically produced PPE. This project was awarded a 2022 ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence Award - Bronze.
