F&T Supports Salem Police Department Open New Facility

The new Salem Police Department is officially open! After years of planning, design, and construction, the department began operations at its new facility at 9 Veterans Memorial Parkway on September 23, 2026. The 40,000-SF facility brings together modern police operations, a training range, and a dedicated K9 outbuilding within the existing site.

Fitzemeyer & Tocci provided MEP building commissioning services for the new facility, supporting the verification and functional performance testing of its HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems. During the final stages of construction, our commissioning team conducted field observations and functional testing of key building systems and equipment, including rooftop units, energy recovery equipment, building automation and controls, lighting and electrical systems, and domestic hot water systems.

With the facility now in operation, the new building provides the Salem Police Department with a modern space designed to support its operational needs and service to the community.
